Revolution In Kashmir Watch Party

The comrades in Waterloo will be hosting a watch party to stream an essential event being held by our comrades in Toronto. The process of revolution is rapidly unfolding in Pakistan-administered Kashmir. The Awami Action Committee (AAC) is leading hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris through a month-long general strike and now a long march to the capital of Muzaffarabad. Along the way has been head-on clashes with state police and defiant organization of the masses to resist this brutal state repression. With the economy at a complete standstill and the government completing discredited, these events are showing in practice that power truly lies in the hands of the masses. Our comrades on the ground in Pakistan and all throughout our international are putting forward the most pivotal demand: that the AAC place its trust in the people, seize power, and establish an Awami Inqalabi Government. This opportunity is directly in front of the AAC, with the committees having shut down society and maintaining those most essential parts. We will either see in practice that the masses can and must take power, or the movement will be drowned in blood by the Pakistani state.
