starving Opening Reception

starving: a SOFA art exhibit curated by Andrew Little @artist.andrew.little in collaboration with UW students to highlight social and cultural identities through the lens of food! 📢 We are calling for student art submissions for our first exhibit of the summer! The application is open to all UW students. We are seeking student art which reflects upon themes of how food shapes their relationships to: • culture • family • place • belonging • tradition • connection • comfort • community …however you interpret these! ✅ Please include a brief artist statement with your work which indicates how it relates to one or more of the above themes. Work of all mediums is encouraged! ‼️Submissions are due June 17th at 11:59 PM. You may submit through our link in bio or with the QR code on our posters in ECH. Good luck!
