The Path To Quantum Advantage

Join us on this Tuesday, June 2 at 6 PM (MC 2034) for a talk from IBM Research Scientist Sean Wagner Dr. Sean Wagner works as a research scientist and quantum technical ambassador at IBM, one of the largest IT companies known for pioneering many technologies such as quantum computing, hard disk drives, mainframe computing, deep blue, magnetic strip cards and so much more! As a University of Waterloo alum, Dr. Wagner will be joining us to give a talk on “The Path to Quantum Advantage” (i.e. the steps it will take for quantum computers to be able to complete tasks faster than classical computers) We hope to see you there!
