In honor of Independence Movement Day (Samiljeol), AKCSE UW is hosting a Samiljeol Movie Night✨ We will be screening “Assasination”, a film that captures the burning spirit of our ancestors who fought for freedom, to reflect on the importance of our history. 🇰🇷 📣 What is Independence Movement Day (Samiljeol)? March 1st marks the day in 1919 when the Korean people stood up against Imperial Japan and its colonial rule to declare independence.
