Thur Feb 12
5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
SLC Multi-Purpose Room
When dignity is denied to some, it stands threatened for all. This gathering is held in memory of those killed during recent protests for human rights in Iran, and serves in clear opposition to the violence carried out by the Islamic Republic against its own people. We come together to honour their stories and remember that each name belonged to a life filled with ordinary hopes, human attachments, and unfinished plans. Their names and photographs will fill the room alongside fragments of who they were and where they came from. All are invited to move through the displays, sit in reflection, listen, ask questions, or share if they feel called. There will be time dedicated to a moment of silence, and space for open reflection with the community. Join us in remembrance and solidarity. All are welcome, for what is taken from one life is taken, in some measure, from us all. 📅 Thursday, February 12th | 12:30pm - 2:30pm 📍SLC Multi-Purpose Room, University of Waterloo
