Black & Gold Room (SLC 2144)
Building a Marxist Party: What does it mean? What does it look like? Join the Revolutionary Communist Party (@communistrevolution) on Saturday, January 31st from 1-5pm at the University of Waterloo, in the Black & Gold Room (SLC 2144) to learn more about what a Marxist party is supposed to be and the role that it plays in overthrowing capitalism. Comrades from the KW branch (@kwcommunists) and the Central Committee of the RCP will be speaking on building a marxist party. Topics will include “Stalinism VS Bolshevism,” picking apart the misconceptions surrounding Lenin’s Bolshevik Party and the Stalinist regime and its crimes, and “The Permanent Revolution,” urging the necessity of an independent working class seizing power to initiate a socialist revolution on the national arena that then unfolds on the international arena and is completed on the world arena. Following each speaker, there will be an open discussion. This is open to anyone wanting to learn more about Marxism and the Revolutionary Communist Party. Our newspaper, Communist Revolution, will be available to purchase alongside our magazine In Defense of Marxism, pamphlets, books, and more! #waterloo #kitchener #communism #revolution #revolutionarycommunistparty #rcp #rci #bolshevik #trotsky #wusa #universityofwaterloo
