Theatrical Intimacy Workshop

Important ‼️ (especially for anyone participating in our Winter 2026 production of The Nether by Jennifer Haley) Tomorrow evening, acting coach Melinda Little will be leading a Theatrical Intimacy Workshop. This is a consent-based workshop to: - introduce shared language (like “closed rehearsal,” “consent to touch,” etc.) - teach basic tools for giving and withdrawing consent - help everyone learn how to say “yes,” “no,” or “not right now” without fear or shame - introduce the pillars of Intimacy direction = context, communication, consent, choreography, and closure This workshop is not exclusive to actors in this term’s production—anyone who is interested in attending is welcome to come! 🗓️ Thursday, January 8, 2026 🕠 5:30PM - 7:00PM 📍 Theatre of the Arts #uwaterloo #uwthperf #uwaterlooarts #theatre
