Karate and Jujitsu Classes

~Theme of the Week: Beginning of Classes and Try Its Period 🍂 Hello everyone! Welcome back!! We’re excited to announce that our Karate and Jujitsu classes will finally begin this week!! This means our Free Try-It Period will also start and run from Monday September 15, to Friday October 10. During this time, new members are welcome to attend any of our classes at no cost. All that is required is to sign up for our Try Its membership (found on our Discord channel). Once registered, you're welcome to join any of our available classes that will be running until October 10th. **Some Common Questions and What to Expect: 📍​ All of our classes are held at University of Waterloo’s Columbia Ice Field (CIF) Studio. Please note that there is only one entrance through CIF – it is near the roundabout across the street from the Optometry building. Upon entering, scan your WatCard at the CIF front desk, then follow the hallway on your left and you should see the studio at the end of the hall. 🥋 Wearing a Gi is not required – however, we kindly ask that participants wear comfortable workout attire, while avoiding shorts and jeans for safety reasons. If you’re interested in buying one, Gi’s are available for purchase in-person through our club! 💡 In addition to our regular classes which focus on Goju Ryu-style Karate and Japanese Jujitsu, we have some exciting opportunities lined up this term including: sparring sessions, future seminars, and potential Kobudo (weaponry) classes. Stay tuned for future announcements regarding these special events! We’re excited to kick off the term and welcome both new and returning members to our club!
