Biodiversity Conservation and Restoration Research Talk

Join us next Thursday October 23rd, 12:00 - 1:00 in EV1-136 for a research talk with Dr. Tim Alamenciak! He will share his work on conservation engagement in the Canadian prairies with Ducks Unlimited, cutting edge research into the use of LLMs for evidence synthesis in restoration and conservation ecology, and ongoing efforts to build communities of practice that bridge researchers and practitioners. Students will learn about findings that inform how we can engage more people in conservation and restoration work. Tim will also share opportunities for final-year thesis projects and a funded PhD opportunity. Hope to see you there 🌿
