Novice Training Day — only novices allowed 🍕 For all new members who joined during clubs fair: welcome to uw debate!! if you’re new to uw debate (aka a novice = literally anyone who hasn’t debated at the university level before or is just starting out), this day is for you! chill vibes, lots of feedback, and free dinner (yes, pizza 🍕). this will take place Monday, September 22. 🕕 schedule - RCH 307 6:00–6:30 → check-in + icebreakers 6:30–7:00 → lesson on how the club works (exec, tournaments, the whole deal) 7:00–9:00 → practice round w/ detailed feedback 9:00–9:30 → novice rep elections 9:30 onwards → dinner social + q&a come through, bring nothing but yourself, and we’ll handle the rest 💚 sign-in form: https://forms.gle/yLcyd88xTNcd3quo9
